We provide comprehensive exams and consultations for patients of all ages. During your exam you will work with our technicians on our instruments to gather information before seeing the doctor, including getting family history and current physical health. This information will aid the doctor to detect any diseases and for any changes in your vision.
We also provide visits for the monitoring of diseases like Glaucoma, Dry Eye, Age Related macular degeneration, diabetes, cataracts and Myopia progression.
Myopia, or nearsightedness, has become more prevalent around the world. Early detection and intervention to stop or slow the progression of Myopia in children is the best way to reduce the risk of serious eye diseases like glaucoma, retinal diseases, detachments and myopic degeneration. No level of myopia is considered safe. Fortunately we can help slow or even stop the progression of Myopia through non-invasive treatments including custom contacts or prescription drops. Patients will work closely with the doctor and the Myopia Treatment counselor to implement a treatment customized for your child. We also offer complimentary Myopia screenings every 6 months for your child so we can monitor any progression of developing Myopia.
Age-Related Macular Degeneration (AMD) is the leading cause of progressive vision loss, robbing you of your central vision and can lead to blindness affecting your general quality of life. Identifying AMD in its early stages is critical but with specialized instruments in our office, we can detect, diagnose and help you take proactive measures to delay or even prevent blindness.
Glaucoma is a group of eye conditions that damage the optic nerve and is one of the leading causes of blindness for people over the age of 60. Regular eye exams that include measuring the pressures inside your eye is important for detection, treatment and monitoring to slow or prevent any vision loss.
